Legal Basis: No Placement Fees

RA 8042 – Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995

Section 51 – Free Placement

“No placement fees shall be charged from migrant workers.”

RA 10022 – Amendment to RA 8042 (2010)

Section 6 – Illegal Recruitment (Expanded)

“Charging or accepting directly or indirectly any amount greater than that specified in the schedule of allowable fees prescribed by the Secretary of Labor” is illegal recruitment.

Household Service Workers (HSWs) are fully protected under RA 10022 and must not be charged any placement fees.

Our Fee Structure

1. No Salary-Based Placement Fees

Our agency does not collect placement fees equivalent to one month’s salary. We do not take a portion of the worker’s salary as a fee.

“Our agency does not collect placement fees equivalent to one month’s salary. In accordance with Republic Act No. 8042, as amended by RA 10022, we only charge a minimal service fee strictly limited to authorized, non-placement cost items permitted under DMW regulations.”

2. Small, Itemized Service Fee

We only collect a small, clearly itemized service fee to cover legitimate administrative and support services, such as:

  • Document coordination and handling
  • Application assistance and interview scheduling
  • Communication and support services
  • Operational costs for maintaining worker–employer support systems

This fee is not based on salary, not a placement fee, and fully compliant with RA 8042, RA 10022, and DMW rules.

3. No Hidden Charges

We do not charge:

  • Hidden processing fees
  • Hidden documentation fees
  • Mandatory training fees
  • Any fee not clearly itemized and disclosed

Comparison: Our Service Fee vs. Prohibited One-Month Salary Fee
